The Carefore Group have built an enviable reputation as a high quality care provider on the Essex/Suffolk borders since 1997.

We sold our older facilities in 2004 to concentrate on building and running modern, beautiful Elderly Care Centres which provide excellent standards of personalised care and are compliant with the Care Standards Act of 2000 and now the Health and Social Care Act 2008.

The first of our new care centres, St. Josephs in Sudbury, opened in August 2005, followed by Orwell House in Holbrook, Ipswich which opened in August 2006. Blackbrook House in Dedham was opened in July 2007 and Devonshire House in Cavendish, Suffolk opened in August 2010.

Our latest home, Canterbury House in Hadleigh, Suffolk, was opened in July 2011 and provides first class facilities including a hydrotherapy suite, swimming pool, cinema, professionally equipped hair salon and therapy room.
