Prior to becoming a resident, it is usual for a potential resident to be visited in their own home or in hospital by our Home Care Manager to discuss and assess all aspects of their individual social and physical needs.

This important meeting, coupled with a medical recommendation, is the preliminary step in preparing a personalised Care Plan, designed to meet individual requirements and preferences.

Pre-assessment of individual needs is incredibly valuable as this ensures that the best living environment is prepared in advance, to guarantee our residents have the highest possible quality of life.

As it is important to be certain that a long term resident is going to be happy, we consider the first month to be a settling in period during which residents decide for certain that they will be leading fulfilled lives in their new home.
