Key Staff & Staffing Levels
When choosing qualified staff for any of our care homes, we focus on their genuine interest in working with the elderly, in the welfare of others, that they are able to relate well and their own hands-on experiences.
All of our care staff complete a thorough induction training programme and receive on-going training throughout their employment, keeping their skills up to date. Staff also have supervised sessions on a regular basis and most either hold NVQ qualifications in care or are under instruction.
We have strong management and senior care teams and our care staff are appropriately qualified to deliver the highest standards of care. Our training programmes are designed to maintain these high standards in line with the latest developments in Care Practices, legislation, regulations and by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Our staffing levels are higher than most other care homes to ensure that we always meet the needs of our residents at all times, even during periods of staff sickness. We always operate within the staffing level guidance forum supplied by the CQC.
